the 7 x 8 hexagon sandbox
A Hexagon sandbox is a great addition to any backyard. The sandbox frame can be assembled in less than an hour so before you know it your children can be exploring their creativity! This design also has enough room for multiple children to encourage cooperation and creativity. The only additional items you’ll need to setup this sandbox are a hammer and the sand that goes in it! Add a canopy or cover to your sandbox to provide much needed shade during hot days.
Our composite boards used for this sandbox are made of composite material so you don’t have to worry about your children getting splinters from cheap wooden sandboxes or burning themselves on hot metal. Our snap-lock brackets make it super easy to install too! Just slide on the brackets to each end of the board and lock them in place with the snap-lock plugs provided in your kit. The best part is our composite boards are made with recycled plastic so you’re helping to divert plastic bottles from the ocean! The 2-level variant of this design uses 1,164 plastic bottles worth of recycled plastic to make!
The frame it all modular sytem
The Frame it All board and bracket system is also used for a lot of other applications so you can repurpose your boards once your children out grow their sandbox. With the same boards and brackets you can make a raised garden bed, landscape edging, or water garden frame!
Add a canopy or cover
The telescoping Sandbox canopy seamlessly extends and retracts so you can have shade while your children are playing and have a tight cover to keep leaves, animals, and rain out of your sandbox when they’re not using it. Our canopy cover will prevent harmful UV rays from damaging exposed skin. The cover is designed with a convex shape to allow rain water to fall right off the sides without accumulating. During the winter you can easily remove the cover from your sandbox and store it just like you would an umbrella.
